On December 5th, the International Volunteer Day, our team came together to remember how much we have achieved in almost three years of our activity. This day was not only a celebration, but also an opportunity to express deep gratitude to everyone who tirelessly helps in bringing Victory closer and chooses to be a part of our foundation’s team.
This gathering is a rare moment when the whole team managed to come together. It was touching and inspiring to remind everyone that thanks to our joint efforts and unity, we managed to implement incredible projects: provide assistance for over 100 million UAH worth, to warm up 23 thousand children in 7 safe spaces thanks to the “Safe Ukrainian Childhood” project, hand over more than a thousand of first-aid kits and countless piles of medicines to the military, create mobile hospitals and wards, and much more. These are not just statistics – these are lives that we were able to change or save together.
Another special part of the day was the presentation of awards and thanks from the military and community leaders. This once again confirms that our work is of great importance to those we help.
We also remembered those who gave their lives while carrying out a volunteering mission. According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 28 volunteers from the Kharkiv region have died while providing assistance in the region. Their dedication and sacrifice are an example of indomitability that neither time nor war will erase.
We are grateful to everyone who supports us on our volunteer path. Without your help, faith and dedication, the CodeIT4life projects would not be possible. You are our support and source of inspiration. Together we are stronger, and together we bring Victory closer.
