On September 16th, the fourth children’s space was opened in the de-occupied village of Bezruky in the Derhachi region within the “Safe Ukrainian Childhood” project under the initiative and support of the “CodeIT4Life” fund together with the “Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Derhachi City Council”. About 100 children joined the opening celebration!

An entertainment program for children was created by animators who also prepared a soap bubble show. Everyone could have their face painted with special make-up. The children themselves also joined the celebration: first-graders prepared their first poems, and young people performed songs.
This space is special in its size: two large rooms can accommodate at least 100 people and allow full-fledged concerts, lectures, performances, large-scale celebrations, and events!

Currently, there are more than 1,800 children of school and preschool age in the Derhachi community. That means that during the implementation of the “Safe Ukrainian Childhood” project, 600 children returned to the community.
We are happy to return childhood to the de-occupied territories of the Kharkiv Region. Thank you to everyone who donates to this project, thanks to your support we see a huge number of happy children. This is the best motivation to move on!
