This November, we were able to reinforce those who stand between life and death – combat medics. Hundreds of lives saved, hundreds of people returning home – this is the result of their work, which we cannot leave without support.

Thanks to the help of the Der Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. charity association from Cologne, we were able to provide the medics of the Armed Forces with:

  • 2 fully equipped backpacks for medical staff of the stabilization points and evacuation vehicles
  • 200 CAT tourniquets
  • 200 Israeli bandages
  • 200 SAM chest seals
  • 200 thermal blankets
  • 200 hemostatic compresses
  • 200 atraumatic scissors
  • 20 packs of medical gloves

The total cost of this rescue aid is 1 million UAH.

We also provided another important part of our support: 50 first-aid kits were completed and handed over to the guys who are currently on the front lines. The kits were provided by the foundation.

We supported the units that work in the “hotspots”: Zaporizhia, Kup’yansk, Donets’k and Kharkiv:

  • 3 different units of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) “Spartan”
  • 116 Separate Mechanized Brigade
  • 415 Separate Rifle Battalion
  • 1st Separate Assault Battalion “Da Vinci” named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo
  • The Third Separate Assault Brigade

Timely medical care on the frontline saves lives. These are not just words – this is a reality where every second, every decision, every bandage and every tourniquet can cost someone’s life. Tactical medicine not only minimizes the consequences of injuries, but also gives every soldier confidence that his life is under reliable protection.

When a soldier has a quality individual first aid kit, he has a better chance of survival. When a combat medic has quality medical equipment, he has a better chance of bringing wounded soldiers back to life. And every life saved is a soldier who will fight on, a family that will wait for their hero, and our step towards Victory.
