Mobile medical room
The project is aimed at creating mobile rooms for infusion therapy near the front line. Two mobile rooms have already been created and the building of the next ones has begun.
The first room was handed over by the foundation team to the medical service of the 1st Separate Assault Brigade named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo “Da Vinci” on October 5, 2024.
The mobile room allows us to provide our soldiers with the necessary conditions for quick and effective recovery from injuries and concussions.
DonateMedical services in front-line areas are often forced to work in conditions that do not provide the proper level of medical care. Soldiers who have suffered concussions or other injuries may require infusion therapy up to 5-6 times during combat missions. However, hospitalization remains complicated due to the overload of stabilization points or the large distance to hospitals. In such conditions, the quality of treatment and comfort of soldiers are significantly reduced, which affects both their health and the possibility of returning to duty.
The mobile room allows doctors to provide assistance to up to 150 soldiers per week at a distance as close as 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from the contact line. This significantly increases the chances of saving the lives of servicemen in critical situations.
Implementation
The mobile medical room was created according to the principle of mobile hospitals based on a shipping container and was designed taking into account all the needs of medics in frontline combat conditions.
Special features of this room include:
- Thermal insulation and hygiene: insulated walls provide thermal insulation, and the easy-to-care floor makes it possible to maintain sterility at a high level.
- Optimized patient placement: three bunk beds allow up to six patients to be accommodated at the same time, which saves space and increases the efficiency of medical work.
- Equipment connection: a large number of sockets allow you to connect medical equipment, and also provides the opportunity to charge patients’ mobile phones.
- Staff amenities: a special place is provided for storing medical equipment, which ensures comfort and facilitates access to everything you need.
- Comfortable conditions: the heating and air conditioning system creates optimal conditions for medical staff to work in different weather conditions.
