Project Goal:
Thanks to the implementation of this project, the time for evacuating the wounded from the front line to the headquarters will be reduced. Accordingly, the number of lives saved on the front line will increase. Mobile stations are equipped as full-fledged operating rooms while maintaining conditions close to clinical ones, thus reducing the risk of postoperative complications.
Thanks to the support of our partners and people concerned, we have already managed to implement three operating units. Two of which we handed over to military medics on a symbolic date – the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The third operating room was created taking into account the feedback of servicemen who provide rescue with the help of the first two. In April 2024, the third hospital was transferred to the Dyke Pole (“Дике Поле”) reconnaissance unit as part of the “Da Vinci” battalion. In addition, we have already created and handed over 2 rooms for medics to live in field conditions. Currently, it is planned to implement two more mobile operating rooms, as well as 10 mobile medical centers for infusion therapy of lightly wounded servicemen and those who have returned after hospitalization and need continued therapy.
Implementation
Each of the mobile field hospitals is insulated, internal work has been carried out with a coating that is easy to clean, and additional metal-plastic doors have been installed, to help maintain the temperature and conditions close to sterile in the room. Each operating room is equipped with heaters, hoods, and special lamps for sterilizing the air in the room. Each container is equipped with an enhanced socket for the generator and has nine standard sockets for quick movement and easy connection of additional equipment when necessary.
Each field hospital contains:
